Frequently Asked Questions

Q. If I have good health insurance, do I really need supplemental insurance?

A. Even the best health insurance policy has gaps in coverage built right into the policy such as: Deductibles, co-insurance, exclusions and limitations. Supplemental insurance pays money directly to you that you can use to pay for these gaps in coverage plus much more like; lost income, house payments, car payments, groceries or anything that you want.

Q. My health insurance rates are constantly increasing, what about supplemental insurance rates?

A. Historically, supplemental insurance premiums seldom increase – rates are not raised based on individual claims experience, and your rates can only be increased if all rates of that kind are raised in your state

Q. Will these plans pay in addition to other supplemental or health insurance
policies I may have?

A. Your benefits are paid regardless of any insurance you may have.

Q. Who receives the money when I file a claim?

A. Your benefits are paid directly to you or whomever you choose.

Q. How do file a claim?

A. Claim forms can be found on the “ forms” tab. Follow the simple instructions.
